Jambu Fruit-Dove, Crashed at Winsland House, Birds at Orchard Road Singapore
As I walked home this morning around 7:45 am, I almost stepped on a Jambu Fruit-Dove on the walkway by the road side that had crashed at Winsland House, near Orchard Road, Singapore. It was sitting motionless on the concrete floor probably due to the impact or the fall. To make sure that no one disturb the bird, I positioned the injured bird at the quiet grass patch that no one would disturb. About an hour later, the bird recuperated and took off.
Interestingly, another bird had also crashed this morning around the same place. It was a juvenile Philippine starling crashed at Winsland House, Birds at Orchard Road Singapore.
On Oct 22, 2013, a Black-backed Kingfisher also crashed around the same spot.
