Birds Photography in Asia by John Arifin

In the recent years, John has focused his time on the elusive birds in the rain forest. While they are not always easy to photograph, they are usually very spectacular in their plumage. John and Anna have traveled to Borneo, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Their work on the Birds of Borneo was published in the Asian Geographic Magazine. In 2006, John was the first person to photograph the extremely rare Dulit Frogmouth in the Kelabit Highland in Sarawak, Borneo.
