After much kneeling, bending and crouching, we finally came face to face and eye to eye with the dragonfly(Libelludiae), damselfly(Coenagrionidae) and Banded Bullfrog (Kaloula pulchra). Equipped with Canon 70-300mm, Canon 18-135 mm zoom, Nikon 70-300mm zoom and a couple 100 mm macro lenses, we reached a good magnification where normal lenses would not allow us to get close to. Surprisingly, most of the participants had no idea what macro photography was all about prior to the workshop. I discovered Macro photography almost 28 years ago. It was not easy then when exposures on macro photography were tricky especially when manual flash was involved. With the digital camera, it is easier today but knowing the right techniques will save time. Now the participants are more aware of the tiny world around them and their ability to capture those on camera. Here are their works from the
